CASE STUDY

Cosy Courtyard

The Brief

The brief was simple: low maintenance, and make it worth using. What had been a bland, underused courtyard, more forgotten space than garden, needed a reason to actually spend time in it, without adding to the upkeep.

The Approach

The design centred on structured planters and feature trees, giving the space real shape and interest without the demands of a border that needs constant attention. Every choice was made with low maintenance as the priority, not an afterthought.

The Result

Lighting did a lot of the remaining work. Subtle after dark, it turns the courtyard into a dramatic, considered space at night, and gives what used to be a wasted view from the window something worth looking at. The result is a courtyard that finally earns its place, low maintenance by design, and just as good to look at from inside as it is to sit in.

"What a great experience from design to delivery it couldn’t have gone any better.. Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we’re delighted with the outcome ..thankyou"
